Substack Hiatus, New Books, and a New Show with Chris Rufo
busy, busy, busy
Dear subscribers,
I’ve indefinitely paused all payments for this Substack. I have been too busy managing Passage Publishing, which is experiencing enormous growth at the moment and is therefore taking up any additional time I might have to write. I will get back to writing soon, but I doubt I will have much time for long form until the New Year.
In the meantime, our Fall/Winter catalog is now out and includes an anthology from the great John Derbyshire, a debut short story collection from First Things editor Justin Lee, and our print edition of volume 2 of Unqualified Reservations. We also have additional reprints of the original Hardy Boys and the original The Storm of Steel that are now available and will make excellent Christmas gifts. Earlier in the summer, we also released an anthology from Paul Gottfried, a memoir from Taki Theodorocopoulos, and a story/essay collection from Rambo Van Halen, Hollywood Samizdat that are all worth your time.
I encourage you to all buy these books and please sign up for the Passage Newsletter (link at the bottom of the Passage website) for information about new releases (of which there will be dozens over the next 6 months) and sales for the Holiday Season. Finally, Passage’s catalog will now be available everywhere books are sold, including big box retailers like Barnes & Noble and Target (something I would not have thought possible even a year ago).
Also, you may have heard that I’ve started a bi-weekly podcast with the great Chris Rufo. While there is a lot we agree on, Chris and I come to the right from a slightly different place and intend to use the show to try to stake out some common ground for where we think the right might move forward from here on out.
If you are so inclined, please subscribe to our Youtube channel, or subscribe on iTunes or wherever you listen to podcasts. If you don’t subscribe I am going to call Stephen Miller and have you deported.
With great love,
L
